The Sum is a two-day conference in San Francisco designed to help guests reimagine creative possibilities for themselves and their cities.
The visual systems can be seen in the website, installations, interactive elements, marketing campaigns, and in the printed materials.
This conference was imagined, designed, and produced in collaboration with Ellen Black and MelissaSmall.
The Bold Italic
I worked as designer at The Bold Italic for two and a half years. I was involved in it's redesign in 2014, where we transitioned the site to a responsive layout, rethought it's visual identity, and did a complete overhaul of the content management system.
I introduced stock image photography to the The Bold Italic, and branded and designed much of our event collateral, including microsites, and printed materials.
The Bold Italic was bought in April 2015, none of the original staff work at the publication any longer.
Propellants for Breakfast
Logo Identity Design
Propellants for Breakfast is a podcast series in the development and recording stage. The host will interview ‘hustlers’ from a range of creative industries and release weekly Wednesday episodes to give the audience a mid-week blast of inspiration. The visual identity is comprised of black & white photography with a magenta overlay and a sumi ink logotype to convey the high-energy and DIY nature of the podcast content.

Kid Food Reivew
The Kid Food Review series has been running for over a year now. Jessica Saia and I take a four year old to a restaurant and document their facial expressions and commentary on the dishes. I take the photographs and Jessica writes down the (adorable) comments.
